World Out There

World Out There
I know there's a big world out there
I'm just a girl with striped underwear.
I go to sleep every night
Creating lives I've never lived.
I talk myself down from the dullness of life
To comfort me with the idea that
My brain is the only one to take my gripes.
No one wants me because I don't want them
I do just fine on my own.
No one needs me like I need them
This is how the story goes.

This tiny — but mighty — podcast celebrates the oral delivery of the written word. My goal is to showcase and chat with emerging & established writers at all stages of their careers and probe the minds of unshakable industry folks to show us how to become published poets and authors.
