Ten interesting facts about myself

Post 17 of 24

  1. No one in the world has my name. It’s also damn near unpronounceable but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
  2. I have an IMDb page.
  3. I took me almost 6 years to get my B.A. in English. Why? Halfway through, the Great Recession hit and I couldn’t pay my tuition. I didn’t get a single school loan for my undergrad. I’m proud of that. I dropped out for a couple of years to make enough money to get back on my feet again.
  4. I have never been out of the country, not even to Canada or Mexico. The first place I’d go is France.
  5. I owned a web hosting company for almost 13 years. I closed it last month.
  6. I have been published once. I still call myself a professional writer, because that’s what I consider myself.
  7. I was in my elementary school band and played the flute and piccolo, and also had private piano lessons. I have forgotten how to read music.
  8. The first Disney song that gave me frisson was “So This is Love” from Cinderella. Still does.
  9. I have never broken a bone. Drink milk, kids.
  10. I have been getting gray strands of hair since I was about fifteen years old.
